Tocabe's Yellow Cornbread Recipe
Makes 1 (9 x 13-inch) loaf.
Ingredients:
- 1 bag Tocabe's Yellow Cornbread Mix
- 2 large eggs
- 2 cups milk
Directions:

Prepare the Batter:
- Place the corn mix into a medium-sized mixing bowl. Spread it out and make a crater in the center for the wet ingredients.
- In a separate small bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk until thoroughly combined.
- Slowly pour the wet mixture into the crater of the corn mix.
- Gently whisk the wet and dry ingredients together until fully mixed.
- Let the batter sit for at least 20 minutes to allow the cornmeal to fully hydrate.

Prepare the Baking Pan:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Lightly grease a 9 x 13-inch baking pan with butter, oil, or non-stick spray.

Bake the Cornbread:
- After the batter has rested, pour it into the prepared baking pan. Use a spatula to spread it evenly.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25–30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean and the top is golden brown.

Cool and Serve:
- Allow the cornbread to cool for about 10 minutes in the pan before slicing.
- Serve warm with butter, honey, or your favorite toppings.
