This image of an Osage traditional dancer drawn in a contemporary style means a lot to us. Created by Ben Brown and Ryan Red Corn of Buffalo Nickel Creative and Red Corn Native Foods, the original was painted on the side of a building in Pawhuska, Oklahoma that housed Osage language classes. We put one on our restaurant in Denver as a reminder of our culture, our community, and our work to defy stereotypes.

I had purchased a black Tocabe Dancer T-shirt when we visited our restaurant with Ben's mom several years ago. My brother who lives in Bartlesville OK liked it and wanted one so I attempted to order one last spring for his birthday, again I tried in July because my sister-in-law also wanted one and her birthday was in July. Ben's mom told me that you would be reordering shirts and that she would make sure my order got turned in. The shirt came on the 22 of December so it worked out perfectly to give them to my brother and sister-in-law for Christmas. They were happy to receive them. I was a little disappointed because my original shirt was Screen print and the ones in my order were iron-on. The quality of the shirts was good and the design was very artistic and colorful.

I love this company and want to support them! But I have to say that while the design of the Dancer shirt is AWESOME, it was a disappointment that it was just an iron on decal, rather than silkscreened. Let me know if you make the switch to silkscreen and I will gladly buy this again. colleen
