Wild rice is a delicious, versatile grain. It’s a stealthy protein source, good dietary fiber, with just a squeeze of iron. Such a staple! I like to mix the leftovers into pancakes for a different texture. It’s great having this option to buy from a small, indigenous business through… um… a small indigenous business. :-D

You can truly taste the difference. It is so rich and nutty, and the texture is divine. We got several bags for gifts but kept one for ourselves and oh my, we're going to have to place another order so we don't keep the ones that are suppose to be gifts! We've made a soup with it so far and a delicious pilaf with dried cranberries and toasted walnuts!
